Navigating Unique Challenges in Broome's Hospitality Scene
Following on from the basic skills learnt in the morning session around the Responsible Service of Alcohol, participants will gain stronger confidence in learning how to navigate difficult conversations and managing difficult customers. Broome has unique licensee conditions, especially around the sale of takeaway liquor with a TAMS system in place and quantity restrictions. Participants will learn about the unique conversations required and how to communicate messaging effectively to tourists and visitors coming to the region. This workshop will involve role playing between the participants and Chamber staff and committee members acting as difficult customers.
Participants will receive their Managing Difficult Customers Certification as well as a certificate of participation in the workshop.
